About the existence of weak solutions for the generalized Navier-Stokes equations with different types of dissipation In this talk we investigate the existence of weak solutions for steady flows of generalized incompressible and homogeneous viscous fluids. The problem is modelled by the steady case of the generalized Navier-Stokes equations with different types of dissipation. We go from the known existence results on the generalized Navier-Stokes equations with isotropic dissipation to new results with anisotropic dissipation.
