Black hole interiors in metric-affine gravity

Resumo: Using exactly solvable models derived within a metric-affine (or Palatini) geometric context, black hole interiors in extensions of General Relativity will be discussed. These solutions describe black hole space-times with a wormhole giving structure to the otherwise point-like singularity. This type of solutions can be naturally interpreted as geons in Wheeler’s sense. After discussing the definition of singular space-time, it will be shown that these solutions are nonsingular. An introduction to metric-affine gravity and its motivations will also be provided.
