Resumo/Abstract: In this talk I will describe the formation and evolution of a network of cosmic strings focusing in particular on the latest results from the largest numerical simulations of these network. Taking into account these new results we will describe the type of signatures one
should expect from these cosmic string networks in the current and future gravitational wave observatories.
